 Lesley qualified as a registered midwife in 2003 following qualification as a Registered Nurse in 2000, working both within the NHS and Private sectors delivering all aspects of evidence-based midwifery care. Aside from co-founding iconic pregnancy and baby brand, My Expert Midwife, Lesley is also a qualified Hypnobirthing Teacher and with her background in clinical practise, research and parent education has developed unique childbirth, birth partner & parenting prep courses alongside her unique brand of midwifery.

Lesley has worked both in the NHS and private practise throughout her career and most notably as a labour ward co-ordinator in one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe. Throughout this time she has gained invaluable insight and knowledge into all aspects of maternity and newborn care and is well respected by her peers
